“Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.”

— Warren Bennis

The main idea behind my leadership is simple:

The best leaders aren’t afraid to laugh at themselves. I affirm that too often, leaders are constantly upholding themselves to the unattainable notion of complete “perfection” — the idea that because others look to them for guidance, they must wear a mask of professionalism and superiority all the time.

But that’s no fun.

As the President of my High School, I have learned that leaders are most successful when people can relate to them. That is why, last year, as the Secretary-Treasurer of my school, I created Weekly Tik-Toks that I emailed to the entire Upper School and Faculty in order to spread joy and inject some levity into the week ahead. I’m very proud of these creative illustrations of myself, so please peruse!
